REFUND INFORMATION

Westminster, in conjunction with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is recalling certain of its “Thunder Wolf” remote-controlled helicopters because they contain a battery that can overheat. This can result in the helicopter’s body melting, as well as a risk of fire or burns to consumers. The Thunder Wolf indoor helicopter is made of foam and plastic. It measures about 7 inches by 3 inches, has “TW0996” printed on its tail, and was sold in multiple accent colors.

Before going forward, you should be aware that only certain Thunder Wolf helicopters are being recalled: only those helicopters without “made in china” stamped into the plastic skids on the helicopter’s underside are being recalled.

Refunds will only be given for helicopters without “Made in China” stamped into the plastic skids on the helicopter’s underside. If your helicopter has “Made in China” stamped into the plastic on the helicopter’s underside, your helicopter is not being recalled and Westminster will not issue a refund for it.

If your Thunder Wolf helicopter does not have “Made in China” stamped into the plastic on the underside skids and if “TW0996” appears in large white characters on the colored, paper strip along the length of the helicopter’s tail, follow these instructions:

1. To receive a full refund of your purchase, please mail us the copter body and a copy of the original sales receipt with the amount circled. Please be sure to include your name and address. Note that there is no need to return the charging unit or controller.

2. To receive a $20 refund -- if you no longer have your sales receipt -- please mail us the copter body along with your name and address. Note that that there is no need to return the charging unit or controller.

Please allow four weeks to receive any refund.
